MINUTES OF the Planning Committee held on Monday 21st August 2023 at 7pm at the Day Centre Commercial Road

PE30 APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING

The minutes of the meeting held on 7th August 2023 at 7:45pm were APPROVED.

Permission also needs to be obtained by KCC.

Beech Court Church Road Paddock Wood Tonbridge Kent TN12 6EX Erection of three terraced dwellings to the of rear of 11 Beech Court, with associated hard and soft landscaping and access from Church Road Cllr Williams proposed, Cllr Kent seconded: OBJECTION on the following grounds – Infilled development creating a bigger risk of flooding in an area already in a flood risk zone.

Loss of current amenities for the current dwellers of the flats, such as the garden area. Current parking will be affected and intensified. Not sufficient parking for the current flats, new homes, and visitors for all properties. Will cause overflow onto Church Road.

The sewage in this area has already been compromised, concerns with how further properties will affect this.

Anderina Queen Street Paddock Wood Tonbridge Kent TN12 6PH Change of use of the land for the stationing of 4 static mobiles for Gypsy/Traveller occupation, associated hard and soft landscaping. Cllr Williams, Cllr D Kent OBJECTION – High risk flood area.

More traffic would be created on what is a narrow road already.

Concerns on how sewage will be dealt with, especially with floods occurring in the grounds.
