MINUTES OF A MEETING OF the Planning and Environment Committee held on Monday 17th April 2023 at 7 pm at the Day Centre Commercial Road

PE81   DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST.

            There were no declarations of interest.

 

PE82   APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING

The minutes of the meeting held on Monday 20th March 2023 were APPROVED.

PE85   CHAIRMANS REPORT

a) Update on proposals re Kippings Cross junction.

A copy of the correspondence from Greg Clark MP which had been forwarded by Brenchely Parish Council was noted.

Members considered the contents and asked the Clerk to write to Greg Clark supporting his objections to the proposed changes to the junction.  It would also be drawn to his attention that this would also affect the residents of Paddock Wood and not just the villages.

b) Ringden Avenue – it was reported that cars were parking on the green space in Ringden Avenue.  The Clerk would contact Town and Country Housing regarding this and copy in the borough councilors.

The next meeting will take place at 7.45 pm on Tuesday 2nd May 2023  in the Day Centre, Commercial Road, Paddock Wood.
