MINUTES of the Planning Committee held on Tuesday 7th May 2024 at 7:45pm at the Day Centre Commercial Road

The minutes of the meeting held on Monday 15th April 2024 at 7pm have been APPROVED.

PE162   CHAIRMANS UPDATE

Consultant Troy Hayes has suggested that Town Council submit a hearing statement and participate in some of the Matters and sessions which relate to Paddock Wood. Whilst Town Council still need to respond to the final Main Modifications consultation, this is very likely the final opportunity to influence the Inspector in hearings before the plan is finalised and adopted.

Troy Hayes has arranged a meeting to discuss this further with Cllr C Williams and the Deputy Clerk on Tuesday 14th May. The sessions will need to be decided at this meeting as Friday 17th May is the deadline for confirming which sessions Town Council wish to participate in. Cllr C Williams will then be able to relay this at the next Planning meeting on Monday 20th May.
