VACANCY
Temporary grounds maintenance /gardener required for immediate start.
May suit student looking for summer work.
This role is full or part time Monday to Friday up to 37 hours per week with hours to be agreed.
It will run until the end of September with the possibility of a permanent role after that for the right candidate.
Gardening experience and an interest in horticulture is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. A willingness to learn and a “can do attitude” is essential. The successful candidate will work as part of a team under direction of the Council’s estates manager.
The main duties of the role will be general grounds tidying including strimming, deadheading , weeding, grass cutting along with general maintenance.
Pay rate is £10 per hour.
