Planning Permission for Community Centre granted – statement from Chairman

Following the planning committee meeting at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council on the evening of Wednesday 22nd September I am delighted to announce that planning permission was granted to Paddock Wood Town Council to build a Community Centre on the Memorial Field subject to the approval of the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government.

I should like to express my thanks to all the members of the public in Paddock Wood who have supported us and given their feedback over many years, our partners in the project and the TWBC officers who have enabled us to get to the stage that our planning application has been approved by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.

We intend  to start building in the Spring.
