PE23 DECISIONS BY TUNBRIDGE WELLS BOROUGH COUNCIL: Will be

reported at the next available meeting due to absence of the deputy clerk.

PE 24 CHAIRMANS REPORT

The chairman and vice chairman attended a meeting at TWBC to review a presentation regarding development at Swatlands as proposed in the draft local plan. They welcomed the involvement in the discussion of the Design Team South East group who seemed to be aware of the concerns of the Town Council regarding the proposed developments in general, specifically maintenance and preservation  of green space and wildlife corridors and the risk to sustainable and planned development posed by premature applications ahead of the adoption  of the local plan. They wished to stress that attendance at such borough meetings should not be construed as the Town Council and it’s members supporting proposals discussed and are not in opposition to the Town Council’s many clearly stated objections to the Paddock Wood allocations proposed by the Tunbridge Wells Pre Submission Draft Local Plan.

PE25 SURVEYMONKEY RESULTS RE HIP OPTIONS

Results not available due to staff absence, will be provided at next meeting.

PE 26 DATE OF NEXT MEETING:  7.00 p.m. on Monday 16th of August
