MINUTES OF A MEETING of the Planning Committee held on Monday 15th July 2024 at 7pm at the Day Centre Commercial Road

Greenfields Farm Old Hay Brenchley Tonbridge Kent TN12 7DG Change of use of land to provide 3 Gypsy and Traveller pitches comprising the stationing of 7 static caravans, installation of waste water treatment plant, with hard and soft landscaping There is currently planning permission for three units to be stationed on the site – on three separate plots.  This application seeks to increase the number of units on the three plots to 7. The Five-Year Gypsy and Traveller Pitch Supply Statement 2021 has identified that a further 6 pitches were required in Paddock Wood.  With the additional plots already approved in PW it was felt that the need during the plan period has been met.

Cllr Williams proposed, Cllr Mackie seconded: OBJECTION on the grounds of over intensive for the site, increase in traffic, lack on information for the foul waste & is beyond the assessed need.
