To APPROVE the minutes of the meeting held 19th December 2024.
PER18 APPOINTMENT OF GROUNDSTAFF
The Town Council has allocated the funds to employ an additional member for the Estates Team in the 2024/25 budget. As it is intended to bring all the grass cutting back “in house” the new member of staff needs to be appointed as soon as possible, so that they are in post by the beginning of cutting season.
Attached are the job details which has been reviewed by the Estates Manager.
Members are asked to agree that the Clerk & Estates Manager may progress the appointment of the new member of staff. Adverts will be placed locally & on the Indeed website. Whilst the Grounds Management Association advertises vacancies on its website this will cost £350 for a two-week advertisement. This is not considered to be good value for money and it not recommended.

A copy of the Council’s appraisal guidelines is attached for review.
PER20 PENSIONS
To consider the attached report.
PER21 STAFFING REVIEW
A letter has been sent to the consultants who carried the review, and a response is awaited. It is the Committee chairman’s recommendation that the staffing requirements of the Town Council are part of the Forward Plan.
