NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a casual vacancy has occurred in the office of Councillor for the West Ward of the Town of Paddock Wood following the resignation of Thomas Mobbs
Rule 8(1) of The Local Elections (Parishes and Communities) (Amendment) Rules, 1986, provides that on a casual vacancy occurring in the office of councillor of a parish/town, an election to fill the vacancy shall be held within 60 days if, within fourteen days (computed as stated below by 5 pm on 13th June 2024) after public notice of the vacancy has been given in accordance with Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act, 1972, notice in writing of a request for such an election has been given by TEN electors of the parish to
